Covid-19: Stay Positive

This virus has been going on for a while and I figured it should be time for me to write the generic Covid 19 post. So here I am.

I know most of us is either in self-isolation, lockdown, quarantine or just social distancing. Here in South Africa we have been put in lockdown for 21 days. Hopefully it will end after the 21 days. As an introvert this isn’t as hard for me as it probably is for some of you. I like being on my own and not going out. Of course, the fact that I do not have the option of going out and that I am trapped in my house with the rest of my house is quite hard for me. So I know there are extroverts who need stimulation from others, not just their families and they crave to go outside. I would just like to let you know that I believe that you will make it. You are going to be okay. And if any of you feel depressed, anxious or just need someone to talk to, you are welcome to contact me. Instagram or Twitter.

So we have been put in a bad situation, but I feel we shouldn’t just give up. Still contact your friends, video chat or just message each other. And there is no reason for you to be bored. We are so blessed that we live in a time with technology and the internet. The people who were quarantined during the plague didn’t have this. We should be thankful for that. Make the best of a bad situation. That book, movie or series you never had time for, you now have time for it.

Don’t feel pressured to do anything great or to be super active, if all you can do is take care of yourself and work on your mental health, you have done amazing. Take care of you. Be amazed at how awesome you are. Just dwell in that feeling satisfaction. Spend time with your family. Bond with your family.

And to those with the virus or who live in fear of the virus. Stay calm. God is the only one who can save us now. The enemy tried to divide us and isolate us and spread fear among us. But he won’t succeed. We have already been healed of all sickness when Jesus died on the cross for our sins. We are loved by an Almighty God and He protects us from every sickness and disease. Stay in faith. We are safe. Just give yourself to our God.
